Help with DayIn
Email support@getdayin.app for help. Include the DayIn version, device and iOS version, and steps that reproduce the problem. Do not send passwords, reset links, access tokens, or detailed Health records.
Sign-in and email
Request a fresh confirmation or password-reset email from DayIn if an earlier link has expired. Open a password-reset link on the installation that requested it. Check spam or junk folders before requesting another message.
Local guest tracking
Choose Continue without an account to track on one device without a time limit. You can later open Profile and choose Sign in or create account. After successful sign-in, DayIn transfers that installation's guest history into the account on the device. Cloud backup remains a separate choice and follows the account's saved setting; it starts off for a newly encountered account. Guest records can be lost if DayIn's local data is removed.
Cloud backup
Open Profile → Cloud backup to control future habit and readiness synchronization for the signed-in account. Turning cloud backup off does not erase records already held remotely or disable account authentication.
Apple Health
Review DayIn's permissions in Apple Health or device settings and confirm the relevant Health samples exist. Denied access and missing samples can look alike. Manual habit tracking remains available without Health access.
Export, reset, and deletion
- Use Profile → Export to export supported DayIn data.
- Use Reset account to clear tracking history while keeping account access, or Reset local history when using DayIn as a guest.
- Use Profile → Delete account and confirm to delete an authenticated account and its associated DayIn records. Original records in Apple Health remain there. If a request is interrupted, follow the status shown by DayIn and retry when instructed.
